Regulations on the installation of road signs is specified in detail in Article 23 of the Law on Road of Vietnam 2024, as follows:
1. The type of road signs are installed
As prescribed in Clause 1 Article 23 of the Law on Road of Vietnam 2024, road signs are installed, including:
– Traffic signal lights;
– Sea road signs, including: signage, prohibition, signs of danger, signs command, signposts, sea women;
– Road markings and other signs on the road surface (collectively, the road markings);
– Pile target, studs, reflective objective, reflective columns Km, piles, H, mold road;
– Wall guards and railings;
– Audio equipment, road signs.
2. Principles of installation of traffic signal lights
Principles of installation of traffic signal lights are specified as follows:
