– Treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste is classified under group 3821 (Treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste);
– Treatment of organic waste for disposal is classified under group 3821 (Treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste);
– Energy recovery from the incineration of non-hazardous waste is classified under group 3821 (Treatment and disposal of non-hazardous waste);
– Disposal of used goods such as refrigerators to prevent harmful waste is classified under group 3822 (Treatment and disposal of hazardous waste);
– Treatment and disposal of radioactive waste in a transitional state from hospitals is classified under group 3822 (Treatment and disposal of hazardous waste);
– Treatment and disposal of toxic waste, polluting waste is classified under group 3822 (Treatment and disposal of hazardous waste);

38301: Recycling of metal scraps and waste
This group includes:
– Mechanical crushing of metal waste such as discarded automobiles, washing machines, bicycles, etc., followed by sorting and separation;
– Dismantling of automobiles, computers, televisions, and other equipment for material recycling;
– Reducing large metal plates such as railway carriages;
– Shredding metal waste, such as unusable vehicles;
– Other mechanical processing methods such as cutting, compressing to reduce volume;
– Ship breaking.
38302: Recycling of non-metal scraps and waste
This group includes:
– Recycling of non-metal photographic waste, e.g., developing solutions or photographic film and paper;
– Recycling of rubber such as used tires to produce secondary raw materials;
– Sorting and aggregating plastic to produce secondary raw materials such as pipes, flowerpots, color boards, and similar items;
– Processing (cleaning, melting, grinding) plastic or rubber waste to grind into small pellets;
– Processing bottom ash from incinerators into secondary raw materials (metals, aggregates);
– Crushing, cleaning, and sorting glass;
– Crushing, cleaning, and sorting other waste such as rubble waste to produce secondary raw materials;
– Processing used cooking oil and grease into secondary raw materials;
– Processing food, beverage, tobacco, and residual waste into secondary raw materials.

3. Suggestions for recording Industry Code 3830 for Recycling of Scraps and Waste
– When registering a business establishment, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a new Business Registration Certificate, the business founder or enterprise selects the four-digit industry code from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification System to record the business lines in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority guides, cross-references, and records the enterprise’s business lines in the National Business Registration Database.
– For conditional business lines stipulated in other legal documents, the business lines shall be recorded according to the regulations in those legal documents.
