1. What is a Business Industry Code?

Business industry codes are a series of numbers encoded to represent a specific business industry. – Manufacture of floating cranes, railway cranes, breakdown lorries… is classified under group 30110 (Building of ships and floating structures), 30200 (Manufacture of railway locomotives and rolling stock, and specialized vehicles and equipment for railways);

– Installation of lifts and elevators is classified under group 43290 (Other building installation).
