2. Regulations on Industry Code 2750 for Manufacturing of domestic appliances

This group includes:

Manufacture of small electric appliances and electric household appliances, domestic vacuum cleaners, household fans, domestic washing machines, domestic electric floor polishers, ironing equipment, domestic cooking equipment, domestic refrigerators, freezers, major domestic appliances, electric or non-electric, such as dishwashers, water heaters, garbage disposals. This group includes appliances powered by electricity, gas, or other energy sources.

Specifically:

– Manufacture of electric domestic appliances such as: refrigerators, freezers, dishwashers, washing and drying machines, vacuum cleaners, floor polishers, garbage disposals, fruit grinders, crushers, juicers, can openers, electric razors, electric toothbrushes and other electric personal care appliances, knife sharpeners, ventilation fans.

– Manufacture of electrothermal domestic appliances such as: electric water heaters, electric blankets, electric hair dryers, combs, brushes, curling irons, electric irons, electric heaters and domestic fans, electric ovens, microwave ovens, electric stoves, toasters, coffee makers, frying pans, rotisseries, grills, steamers, electric resistors, etc.

– Manufacture of non-electric domestic cooking and heating equipment such as: non-electric heaters, grills, ovens, kettles, cooking equipment, dish dryers.

Excludes:

– Manufacture of commercial and industrial refrigerators and freezers, room air conditioners, ceiling fans, permanent heaters, ventilation fans, range hoods, commercial cooking equipment, commercial washing machines, dry cleaning machines, commercial and industrial vacuum cleaners are classified under industry 28 (Manufacture of machinery and equipment not elsewhere classified);

– Manufacture of domestic sewing machines is classified under group 28260 (Manufacture of machinery for textile, apparel and leather industries);

– Installation of central vacuum cleaner systems is classified under group 43290 (Installation of other building systems).

3. Suggested ways to record Industry Code 2750 for Manufacturing of domestic appliances

– When registering for business establishment, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or the enterprise selects the level four economic industry from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification to record the business lines in the enterprise registration application. The Business Registration Authority guides, verifies, and records the enterprise’s business lines in the National Enterprise Registration Database.

– For conditional business lines stipulated in other legal documents, the business lines shall be recorded according to the regulations in those legal documents.
