1. What is a Business Industry Code?

Business industry code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business industry. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business industry code table for registration. Level 4 industry code (4 digits) is the code used for business registration.

The Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification (VSIC) system, issued under Decision 36/2025/QĐ-TTg, has a hierarchical structure with 5 levels, from general to detailed:

2. Regulations on Industry Code 2630 Manufacture of communication equipment

This group includes:

– Manufacture of data and telephone communication equipment used to transmit electronic signals via wired or wireless networks, such as radio and wireless stations and wireless communication devices;

– Manufacture of central office switching equipment;

– Manufacture of cordless telephones;

– Manufacture of private branch exchange (PBX) equipment;

– Manufacture of telephones and fax machines, including telephone answering machines;

– Manufacture of data communication equipment, such as gateways, transmission devices;

– Manufacture of transceiving antennas;

– Manufacture of radio cable equipment;

– Manufacture of pagers;

– Manufacture of mobile phones;

– Manufacture of mobile communication equipment;

– Manufacture of burglar alarm systems and warning lights that send signals to a control station is classified under group 26510 (Manufacture of measuring, testing, navigating and control equipment);

– Manufacture of GPS equipment is classified under group 26510 (Manufacture of measuring, testing, navigating and control equipment).

– Manufacture of electronic scoreboards is classified under group 27900 (Manufacture of other electrical equipment);

– Manufacture of traffic lights is classified under group 27900 (Manufacture of other electrical equipment).
