1. What is an Industry Code?

22201: Manufacture of plastic packaging

This group includes:

Manufacture of plastic articles for packaging such as: Bags, sacks, boxes, containers, cases, large bottles, plastic bottles and jars.

22209: Manufacture of other plastic products

This group includes:

Processing new or used plastics into intermediate or final products using operations such as compression molding; extrusion, blow molding, injection molding and cutting. For all the above processes, the manufacturing process results in a wide variety of products.

Specifically:

– Manufacture of semi-finished plastic products such as: Plastic discs, sheets, blocks, films (whether self-adhesive or not);

– Manufacture of finished plastic products such as: Plastic pipes, hoses, plastic fittings;

– Manufacture of plastic articles for construction such as: Plastic doors, windows, frames, blinds, shutters, baseboards, artificial reservoirs, floor, wall or ceiling coverings in rolls or sheets, plastic sanitary ware such as plastic swimming pools, showerheads, bathtubs, washbasins.

– Manufacture of plastic furniture is classified under group 31090 (Manufacture of beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs from other materials);

– Manufacture of unlayered honeycomb plastic sheets is classified under group 31090 (Manufacture of beds, wardrobes, tables, chairs from other materials);

– Manufacture of plastic sports equipment is classified under group 32300 (Manufacture of sports and athletic goods);
