2. Regulations on Industry Code 1701 for Manufacture of Pulp, Paper and Paperboard

This group includes:

– Manufacture of bleached, semi-bleached or unbleached pulp by mechanical, chemical (dissolving or non-dissolving) or semi-chemical treatment;

– Manufacture of pulp from cotton linters;

– De-inking and manufacture of pulp from waste paper;

– Manufacture of coated, impregnated or saturated paper where the impregnating or coating is the main component, is classified under the group for manufacture of impregnated or coated products;

– Manufacture of sandpaper is classified under group 23990 (Manufacture of other non-metallic mineral products n.e.c.);

– Manufacture of life-jackets is classified under group 32900 (Other manufacturing n.e.c.).
