1. What is a business industry code?

Business industry codes are a series of numbers encoded to represent a specific business industry. 2. Regulations on Industry Code 1313 Finishing of textiles

This group includes:

– Bleaching or dyeing of textile fabrics, yarns, and textile products, including clothing;

– Sizing, dyeing, steaming, shrinking, anti-shrinking, mercerizing of fabrics, and textile products, including clothing;

– Bleaching of denim clothing;

– Pleating and similar work on textile products;

– Waterproofing, coating, rubberizing or impregnating fabrics;

– Printing on textiles as an intermediate step in textile manufacturing;

– Custom embroidery on textile products.

Exclusions:

– Printing (including screen printing) on garments and textile products that is not an intermediate step in textile manufacturing is classified under group 18120 (Printing-related services);

– Laser engraving on fabrics is classified under group 18120 (Printing-related services);

– Manufacture of impregnated, coated, or rubberized fabrics where rubber is the main component is classified under group 22190 (Manufacture of other rubber products).

3. Suggested ways to record Industry Code 1313 Finishing of textiles

– When registering for business establishment, when notifying changes to business lines or when requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or the enterprise selects the level four economic sector in the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority will guide, cross-reference, and record the enterprise’s business lines in the National Enterprise Registration Database.

– For conditional business lines regulated by other legal normative documents, the business line shall be recorded according to the provisions in those legal normative documents.
