This group also includes:
– Peeling of potatoes;
– Shelling of cashew nuts, shelling of peanuts;
– Production of bean sprouts;
– Processing of concentrated fresh fruit and vegetable products;
– Production of ready-to-eat perishable fruit and vegetable foods such as: salads, cut or peeled vegetables, frozen beans.
Excludes:
– Processing of flour or food from dried grains is classified under group 1061 (Milling of grain, production of starches and starch products);
– Preserving fruits and nuts in sugar is classified under group 10730 (Manufacture of cocoa, chocolate and sugar confectionery);
– Manufacture of prepared vegetable meals is classified under group 10759 (Manufacture of other prepared meals and dishes);
– Manufacture of artificial concentrated foods is classified under group 10790 (Manufacture of other food products n.e.c.);
– Manufacture of fruit beverages is classified under group 1105 (Manufacture of non-alcoholic beverages; production of mineral waters).

3. Suggested way to record Industry Code 1010 for Processing and Preserving Meat and Meat Products
– When registering for business establishment, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to a Business Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or enterprise selects the Level 4 economic sector in the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification to record the business line in the business registration application.
