1. What is an industry business code?

An industry business code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this industry business code table for registration. The 4-digit (level 4) industry code is the code used for business registration.

The Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification (VSIC) system, issued under Decision 36/2025/QD-TTg, has a hierarchical structure with 5 levels, from general to specific:

• Level 2: 10 (Food Processing and Production)

2. Regulations on Industry Code 3320 Installation of industrial machinery and equipment

This group includes:

Installation of specialized machinery. However, the installation of equipment that is an integral part of buildings or similar structures, such as the installation of electrical wiring, alarm systems, or air conditioning systems, and elevators, is classified under construction.

Specifically:

– Installation of industrial machinery in industrial plants;

– Installation and assembly of industrial process control equipment;

– Installation of other industrial equipment, e.g., communication equipment, mainframe and similar computers, radiation and electromedical equipment…
