1. What is a business industry code?

A business industry code is a series of coded numbers representing a specific business line. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business industry code table to register. A 4-digit industry code (level 4) is the code used for business registration.

The Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification (VSIC) system, issued under Decision 36/2025/QD-TTg, has a hierarchical structure with 5 levels, from general to detailed:

2. Regulations on Industry Code 3030 Manufacture of aircraft, spacecraft and related machinery

This group includes:

– Manufacture of aircraft for freight and passenger transport, for defense purposes, for sport and other purposes:

– Manufacture of helicopters;

– Manufacture of gliders, hang gliders;

– Manufacture of dirigibles and hot air balloons:

– Manufacture of parts and accessories for aircraft, such as:

+ Major components such as fuselages, wings, doors, control surfaces, landing gear, fuel tanks, engine nacelles, lighting equipment…

+ Aircraft propellers, rotors for helicopters and propulsion units,

+ Aircraft engines and motors.

+ Parts for jet and turboprop aircraft engines.

– Manufacture of pistons, piston rings and carburetors is classified under group 28110 (Manufacture of engines and turbines (except aircraft, automotive, motorcycle and moped engines));

– Manufacture of aircraft landing gear parts, aircraft launching gear and related equipment is classified under group 2829 (Manufacture of other special-purpose machinery);

– Manufacture of recreational drones (toy drones) is classified under group 32400 (Manufacture of toys and games).
