1. What is a Business Industry Code?

A business industry code is a series of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. • Level 5: 10751 (Manufacture of prepared meals and dishes from meat)

2. Regulations on Industry Code 3012 Building of pleasure and sporting boats and rafts

This group includes:

– Manufacture of inflatable boats and rafts for sports and recreation:

– Building of sailboats with or without auxiliary power;

– Building of motorboats;

– Building of hovercraft for recreation;

– Building of yachts;

– Building of personal seaplanes:

– Building of tour boats and other sporting boats such as: rowboats, canoes, dinghies. This group also includes: Conversion of pleasure and sporting boats at the factory. 

Excludes:

– Manufacture of parts of pleasure and sporting vessels such as:

+ Manufacture of sails is classified under group 13920 (Manufacture of made-up textile articles (except apparel)),

+ Manufacture of iron or steel anchors is classified under group 2599 (Manufacture of other metal products n.e.c.),

+ Manufacture of marine engines is classified under group 28110 (Manufacture of engines and turbines (except aircraft, automotive, motorcycle and moped engines)).

– Overhaul of pleasure and sporting boat engines at the factory is classified under group 28110 (Manufacture of engines and turbines (except aircraft, automotive, motorcycle and moped engines));

– Manufacture of sailboards and surfboards is classified under group 32300 (Manufacture of sports goods);

– Maintenance and repair of pleasure craft is classified under group 33150 (Repair and maintenance of transport equipment (except motor vehicles, motorcycles, mopeds and other motorized vehicles));

– Rental of pleasure boats and sailboats with crew is classified under groups 5011 (Sea and coastal passenger water transport), 5012 (Sea and coastal freight water transport);

– Rental of pleasure boats and yachts without crew is classified under group 77210 (Rental of sports and recreation equipment).

3. Suggested ways to record Industry Code 3012 Building of pleasure and sporting boats and rafts

– When registering a new business, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the business founder or enterprise selects a four-digit economic sector from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification system to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority guides, verifies, and records the enterprise’s business lines in the National Database on Enterprise Registration.

– For conditional business lines specified in other legal normative documents, the business lines shall be recorded according to the provisions in those legal normative documents.
