2. Regulations on Industry Code 2740 Manufacture of electric lighting equipment

This group includes:

Manufacture of electric light bulbs and tubes, parts and components thereof (excluding glass blanks for bulbs); electric lighting fixtures (except for vehicles); non-electric lighting equipment; lamp shades (excluding glass and plastic); parts of lighting fixtures (excluding live wire assemblies). Manufacture of non-electric lighting equipment is also included in this group.

– Manufacture of live or non-live wire assemblies for fixed lighting fixtures is classified under group 27330 (Manufacture of all kinds of electrical wiring equipment);

– Manufacture of ceiling fans or bathroom fans with fixed lighting fixtures is classified under group 27500 (Manufacture of domestic appliances);

– Manufacture of electric signaling equipment such as traffic lights and pedestrian signaling equipment is classified under group 27900 (Manufacture of other electrical equipment);

– Manufacture of electric signs is classified under group 27900 (Manufacture of other electrical equipment).

3. Suggested ways to record Industry Code 2740 Manufacture of electric lighting equipment
