1. What is a business industry code?

A business industry code is a series of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. Organizations and individuals must use this business industry code table when preparing business registration documents. A level 4 industry code (4 digits) is used for business registration.

2. Regulations on Industry Code 1610 Sawing, Planing, and Preserving Wood

Excludes:

This group also includes: General activities of processing and finishing wood on a fee or contract basis, such as: drilling, turning, milling, planing, sanding, grinding, sharpening, flattening, sawing, rough grinding, sharpening, polishing, welding, joining, etc.

16102: Wood preservation

This group includes:

– Drying of wood;

– Simple treatment of wood, such as painting, staining, or other preservation methods.

– Impregnation or chemical treatment of wood;

– Impregnation or chemical treatment of wood with preservatives or other materials.

3. Suggested ways to record Industry Code 1610 Sawing, Planing, and Preserving Wood

– When registering a business establishment, notifying changes to business lines, or requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the business founder or enterprise selects a four-digit economic sector from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification System to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier.
