1. What is an industry business code?
An industry business code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this industry business code table for registration. A 4-digit industry code (level 4) is the code used for business registration.

Activities related to textiles or textile products not elsewhere classified in industry 13 (Manufacture of textiles) or 14 (Manufacture of wearing apparel).
Specifically:
– Manufacture of non-woven fabrics, whether or not impregnated, coated, covered or laminated with plastic or rubber;
– Manufacture of non-woven fabrics where plastic or rubber forms the binding agent;

– Manufacture of knitted or crocheted garments, ornamental trimmings is classified under group 14300 (Manufacture of knitted and crocheted apparel).

3. Suggested way to record Industry Code 1399: Manufacture of other textiles not elsewhere classified
– When registering a company establishment, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to a Business Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or enterprise shall select the four-digit economic industry code from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification System to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority shall guide, cross-reference, and record the enterprise’s business lines in the National Enterprise Registration Database.
– For conditional business lines stipulated in other legal documents, the business line shall be recorded according to the provisions of those legal documents.
