1. What is a business industry code?

Business industry code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business industry. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business industry code table to register. Level 4 industry code (4 digits) is the industry code used for business registration.

2. Regulations on Industry Code 1075 Production of prepared meals and dishes

This group includes: Production of prepared (processed and cooked) and preserved (e.g., frozen or canned) meals and dishes. These meals are typically packaged and labeled for resale; this group does not include meals for immediate consumption as in restaurants. Meals must contain at least two distinct main ingredients (excluding spices, etc.).

– Retail sale of prepared meals in stores is classified under group 47110 (Retail sale in non-specialized stores with food, beverages, and tobacco predominating), group 47210 (Retail sale of food);

– Activities of catering service contractors are classified under group 56400 (Intermediate catering service activities).

10751: Production of prepared meat dishes and meals

This group includes: Production of prepared meat dishes (including canned meat and prepared food in vacuum containers).

10752: Production of prepared seafood dishes and meals

This group includes: Production of prepared seafood dishes (including canned seafood and prepared food in vacuum containers).

10759: Production of other prepared meals and dishes

– Production of other prepared food;

– Production of noodle and rice dishes;

– Production of vegetable dishes;

– Production of frozen pizzas.

3. Suggestions for recording Industry Code 1075 Production of prepared meals and dishes

– When registering a new company, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or enterprise selects a four-digit economic industry code from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority will guide, cross-reference, and record the enterprise’s business line in the National Enterprise Registration Database.

– For conditional business lines stipulated in other legal documents, the business line shall be recorded according to the regulations in those legal documents.
