1. What is a business line code?

A business line code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. When preparing business registration documents, organizations and individuals must use this business line code table for registration. A 4-digit (Level 4) code is the code used for business registration.

– Production of raw milk from dairy goats and sheep;

– Raising of sheep for wool.

Excludes:

– Sheep shearing on a fee or contract basis is classified under group 01620 (Support activities for animal production);

– Production of wool-on skins is classified under group 1010 (Processing and preserving of meat and meat products);

– Dairy processing is classified under group 10500 (Manufacture of dairy products).
