1. What is a business industry code?

A business industry code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business industry. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business industry code table for registration. A 4-digit industry code (level 4) is the code used for business registration.

2. Regulations on Industry Code 0121 Fruit growing

01211: Growing of grapes

This group includes: Growing of grapes for wine production and growing of table grapes.

Excludes: Wine production is classified under group 11020 (Manufacture of wine).

01212: Growing of tropical and sub-tropical fruits

This group includes: Growing of mangoes, bananas, papayas, dragon fruit… and growing of other tropical and sub-tropical fruits.

01213: Growing of oranges, tangerines and other citrus fruits

This group includes: Growing of orange trees, lemon trees, tangerine trees, grapefruit trees, kumquat trees, Buddha’s hand fruit trees and other citrus fruit trees.

01214: Growing of apples, plums and other pome fruits

This group includes: Growing of apple trees, plum trees, apricot trees, peach trees, pear trees and other pome fruits.

01215: Growing of longans, lychees, rambutans

This group includes: Growing of longan trees, lychee trees, rambutan trees.

01219: Growing of other fruits

This group includes: Growing of fruit trees not classified in groups 01211 to 01215. Includes: Growing of bush and berry fruits, raspberries, strawberries, chestnuts, walnuts, etc.

Excludes: Growing of cashew nuts is classified under group 01230 (Growing of cashew nuts).
