1. What is a business line code?

A business line code is a series of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business line code table for registration. The 4-digit code (level 4 code) is the code used for business registration.

2. Regulations on Business Code 0119 Other Annual Crop Farming

01191: Farming of annual spice crops

This group includes: Growing annual plants primarily for spices such as chili peppers, ginger, turmeric, etc.

Excludes: Growing perennial spice crops, which are classified under group 01281 (Farming of perennial spice crops).

01192: Farming of annual medicinal and aromatic crops

This group includes: Growing plants for medicine and producing aromatic substances for the pharmaceutical industry or for medicinal treatment without processing (traditional Vietnamese medicine, traditional Chinese medicine) such as: artichoke, mugwort, mint, cà gai leo, xạ đen, etc., and producing aromatic substances.

Excludes: Growing perennial medicinal and aromatic crops, which are classified under group 01282 (Farming of perennial medicinal and aromatic crops).

01199: Other remaining annual crop farming

This group includes: Annual agricultural crop farming activities not classified elsewhere in groups 0111 to 0119. Includes: Activities such as growing forage crops (e.g., corn for silage, grass), cultivating natural pastures; growing green manure crops (e.g., muồng muồng); growing lotus for seeds, etc.

3. Suggested way to record Business Code 0119 Other Annual Crop Farming

– When registering a business establishment, when notifying changes in business lines or when requesting a change to a Business Registration Certificate, the business founder or enterprise selects the four-digit economic sector from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification System to record the business line in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority will guide, cross-reference, and record the enterprise’s business lines in the National Business Registration Database.

– For conditional business lines stipulated in other legal normative documents, the business line shall be recorded according to the regulations in those legal normative documents.
