1. What is a business industry code?

A business industry code is a sequence of numbers encoded to represent a specific business line. Organizations and individuals, when preparing business registration documents, must use this business industry code table for registration. 01181: Cultivation of various vegetables

This group includes: Activities of growing various types of vegetables:

– Cultivation of leafy vegetables such as: Mustard greens, cabbage, water spinach, cauliflower, broccoli, lettuce, asparagus, chrysanthemum greens, celery, and other leafy vegetables;

– Cultivation of fruiting vegetables such as: Watermelons, cucumbers, zucchini, pumpkins, tomatoes, eggplants, chili peppers, various melons, and other fruiting vegetables;

– Cultivation of root, bulb, or stem vegetables such as: Kohlrabi, carrots, radishes, onions, garlic, leeks, coriander, chives, and other root, bulb, or stem vegetables;

– Cultivation of sugar beets;

– Cultivation of various mushrooms.

Excludes:

– Cultivation of spice plants classified under group 01281 (Cultivation of perennial spice plants) and group 01282 (Cultivation of perennial medicinal and aromatic plants);

– Gathering wild fruits such as: Canarium, forest mushrooms, wild vegetables, natural forest fruits… classified under group 02302 (Gathering of other forest products, except wood).

– Production of mushroom spawn is classified under group 01301 (Propagation and care of annual seedlings).

01182: Cultivation of various beans

This group includes: Activities of cultivating various types of beans for seeds such as: black beans, mung beans, yellow beans, kidney beans, peas…

Excludes: Cultivation of soybeans is classified under group 01170 (Cultivation of oilseed crops).

01183: Cultivation of annual flowers

This group includes: Cultivation of flowers for sale to serve daily needs, beautify landscapes, environments, cultural activities…

3. Suggestions for recording Industry Code 0118 Cultivation of vegetables, various beans, and flowers

– When registering for enterprise establishment, when notifying changes to business lines, or when requesting a change to the Enterprise Registration Certificate, the enterprise founder or enterprise selects a four-digit economic industry code from the Vietnam Standard Industrial Classification System to record the business lines in the enterprise registration dossier. The business registration authority guides, cross-references, and records the enterprise’s business lines in the National Enterprise Registration Database.
